Knight School is a training weekend for the medieval western martial art known as “Heavy fighting” within the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). In August 2026 we will be holding a bootcamp weekend for training the sport.

Whether you’re newly authorised or a seasoned fighter, all heavies are encouraged to come along and learn from some of our most experienced combatants.

Some classes may explore topics in greater depth, so familiarity with the basics is helpful, but there will be something for everyone regardless of skill level (Authorisation required).

check out the website for a more in depth timetable with teachers, info about Cootamundra, ideas for accommodation and food, and general help.
